2004 Koonara Cupra's Gift Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine spent 24 months in oak. The colour is holding up well – near opaque dark crimson red colour with dark crimson mauve hue. The nose is a little subdued with aromas of violets, cedar and new leather emerging. Medium weight with flavours of violet infusions, dark cherry, cedar, new leather and earth – the palate is starting to dry out and lacks length. Fine grained slightly dry tannins with moderate aftertaste of cedar, spice and new leather.
