This is a spatlese style Riesling which has retained 300 grams per litre of residual sweetness – that’s equivalent to two teaspoons of sugar in your tea. Bright, straw colour with pale straw hue. Pronounced floral nose, with hints of rose petal, orange blossom and spice. The palate displays a spicy characteristic over the residual sugar, with a hint of mandarin and lime. If there is a short fall in this wine, it is the acidity which could have been more evident. Aftertaste of orange, mandarin and lime.
