Totally opaque black dark red colour with very deep dark red hue. The nose displays good lift with aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plum and dark chocolate followed by a hint of aniseed and some spice. Full bodied the palate delivers flavours of liquorice, blackberry, dark chocolate, toast and spice. Dry finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, dark chocolate and spice.
