An excellent follow up to the previous vintages of Gilligan. Very deep, verging on being opaque black crimson colour. Aroma of spice and raspberry followed by a touch of cherry, earth and leather. The palate delivers excellent weight and mouthfeel. Flavours of cherry, earth and confectionary are overlaid by a touch of raspberry, spice and liquorice. Velvet smooth tannins. Very spicy aftertaste of cherry, raspberry and earth.
