2004 Forest Hill Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of blackcurrant, cassis and spice, followed by a hint of cedar. On the palate flavours of liquorice, plum, truffle and earth. Fine dry, persistent tannins. Aftertaste of truffle, spice and cedar.

First Tasted, February 2006: Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Aroma of spice and leather followed by blackcurrant and cedar end notes. There is a hint of chocolate on the palate followed by leather, cedar and spice. Fine dry tannins which run into the aftertaste.
