2004 Elderton Ashmead Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Outstanding black purple colour – a total saturate, with excellent cling to the glass wall. Aroma of blackcurrant and cedar, followed by liquorice and mocha. The palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel with generous ripe Cabernet fruit flavours. Layers of blackcurrant and spice, followed by dark chocolate and mocha. Fine grained tannins – perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of liquorice, blackcurrant and mocha.
