2004 Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne

Made entirely from Chardonnay grapes sourced from Grand Cru vineyards. Pours with a frothy white mousse that shows excellent hold. Once dissipated it reveals a pale straw base wine colour with a very profuse and exceptionally fine bead. The nose possesses excellent intensity and finesse with aromas of baked bread and yeast lees overlaying pear, citrus and light toast. Elegant and fresh with a light airy feel the palate features flavours of pear and citrus overlaid with toast, roasted almond like characters and yeast lees. Crisp dry finish. Very refined with a long aftertaste of toast, pear, roasted almonds, citrus and yeast lees. A delicate, fresh Dom Ruinart.
