2004 Dog Point Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi-translucent crimson colour with mauve crimson hue. The nose delivers impressive varietal lift, with toasted oak top notes followed by violets, cherry and strawberry. On the palate the flavours build to deliver a good power wave, with cherry, spice and strawberry fruits being dominant over a very spicy back palate. The oak is well balanced. Fine dryish tannins. Long spicy cherry aftertaste.
