2004 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir

Translucent crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose of spice, cherry, violet and strawberry, showing very good varietal lift. Excellent weight, supported by fine grained, velvet smooth tannins. The palate has very good varietal flavour but lacks the ‘joosy’ quality of previous vintages. Cherry, spice and strawberry flavours are dominant and persist into the aftertaste.
