2004 Binder Mitchell Unforgiven Rustlers Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of liquorice, spice, vanilla and blackcurrant. Dryish palate, with fine grained tannins, supporting spice and blackcurrant fruit over a ripe stewed fruit back palate. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice.

Retasted: Very deep, almost opaque brick red colour with brick red hue. Top notes of plum and blackcurrant followed by dark chocolate, mocha and liquorice, displaying ripe cabernet fruit. Ripe cabernet fruit flavours are again evident on the palate. Chocolate, plum and mocha. Fine grained tannins. Full bodied, but lacking depth and sophistication.
