The wine delivers a delightful perfumed sniff with strawberry top notes followed by a hint of rhubarb and toasted oak. The palate flavours are relatively light, although the wine has a reasonable power wave. Flavours of stewed cherry emerge over a background of strawberry and spice with a touch of sour cherry on the back palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of cherry, spice and strawberry.
