2003 Warrabilla Reserve Vintage Port

The production of magnificent Muscat, Port and Tokay has ensured that Rutherglen is regarded as one of the world’s unique wine growing districts. Vintage Port has an ability to live for a very long time, and the best examples have a unique and highly sought after Marzipan quality. This is an outstanding Vintage Port. Deep black crimson colour. The nose is impressive with a spicy top note, followed by liquorice, marzipan and blackberry. The palate is powerful and filled with flavours of liquorice allsorts, spice, marzipan, morello, cherry and dark chocolate. The spirit is beautifully balanced and supported by fine dry tannins that will ensure long cellaring potential. Excellent balance with very long aftertaste of liquorice, marzipan, cherry and spice.
