A tight Cabernet. Very deep black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose displays good varietal character with a top note of blackcurrant, followed by cedar and liquorice. The palate is disappointing with fine grained, dry, chalky tannins overwhelming the fruit. Stewed fruit and cedar flavours which run into the aftertaste, with fine dry tannins persisting.
