2003 Villa Maria Keltern Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. The nose displays good barrel ferment character. Aroma of biscuit, yeast lees, cashew and fig. Creamy palate texture, with flavours of yeast lees, cashew and biscuit, followed by a sour tropical fruit back palate – creating the sensation of over ripe fruit. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of tropical fruit, yeast lees and toast.
