An outstanding example of Semillon with a very distinctive toasted oak character. The wine has been matured for 2 months in French and American oak. Bright straw colour. Smoky top note with a very charry characteristic, followed by dusty herbaceous notes over a grassy background. The palate flavours are quite distinctive, full bodied with toasted oak flavours being very evident over a grassy herbaceous background. Crisp acid finish followed by a long grassy lees charry aftertaste.
