2003 Tzora Vineyards Ilan Misty Hills (Kosher)

The Tzora Vineyard was established in 1993 with the premise that wine is made in the vineyard, epitomizing the tenets of terroir.  The Ilan Vineyard is situated on terra rossa soil (the same soil type found in Coonawarra), 700 metres above sea level on the western slopes of the Judean Hills.

A well made Kosher wine, suitable for Passover.  Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue.  Aroma of blackcurrant, cedar and stewed fruit.  The palate delivers good weight and length, with flavours of blackcurrant and cedar.  Fine grained tannins.  Very long aftertaste of stewed fruit and cedar.
