2003 Two Hands Max's Garden Heathcote Shiraz

The wines from Two Hand’s have made a strong impression on the marketplace in a very short time. Owners Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz have named a number of their wines after their children (There is nothing like a proud father, lets hope the kids don’t turn out to be ratbags).
Outstanding black crimson colour with black purple hue. Lifted nose of blackberry, liquorice, violets and spice. On the palate, spice and plum flavours are delivered with modest length. There are touches of black pepper on the back palate, supported by spice and plum. Fine, dry tannins, slightly chalky. Aftertaste of liquorice, plum and black pepper.
