2003 Thomas & Thomas Pinot Noir

Translucent crimson colour with crimson hue. Delicate nose of stewed cherries, followed by a touch of ripe strawberry and light leather. The palate flavours are relatively light and undistinguished. Subdued cherry and strawberry flavours emerge, followed by a hint of light leather. Some sour cherry flavours on the back palate. Little power. Fine grained tannins aftertaste of cherry and stewed fruit.

First Tasted, August 2005: Translucent crimson colour with mauve hue. Subtle varietal nose, with aroma of earth, spice and a touch of strawberry. Flavours of stewed cherry and plum with spicy back palate. Soft tannins. A soft commercial Pinot.
