This Pinot Noir is grown in Marlborough’s Omaka Valley. The colour is impressive. Deep purple crimson colour with purple hue. Aroma of violets, ripe strawberry, black cherry and spice showing good varietal character. The palate is drier than expected, with very spicy black cherry flavours. Modest length. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of black cherry and spice, with a hint of earth. The dry tannins persist on the aftertaste.
