A top example of Clare Valley Shiraz. Very deep crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose is superb, with notes of black pepper, blackberry, spice and violets. The palate is very spicy, with flavours of black pepper, blackberry, ripe prune and fresh liquorice. Fine, firmish dry tannins, excellent balance with very long blackberry, black pepper aftertaste.
