2003 Tatachilla Partners Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

A well made early drinking style. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of ripe plum, raspberry and blackcurrant, followed by a white pepper endnote. The nose displays some macerated character which pervades onto the palate. Flavours of cherry, raspberry and liquorice emerge. Moderate length. Fine dry tannins which persist into the aftertaste.

The colour of this wine vibrates with youthfulness. Black heart with deep purple mauve hue. The nose is lifted with notes of liquorice, spice and blackberry. The tannins are fine grained and tight with plum and spice flavours emerging, but without the richness of depth of previous years. Simple fruit structure.
