First Tasted April 04:
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice, liquorice, blood plum, violets and cedar. The wine is off to a good start. The palate flavour profile, falls away revealing a simple combination of stewed plum and spice. Soft tannins. Some charry oak characteristics appear, light aftertaste. The palate aftertaste proves to be disappointing.
