2003 Springlane Chardonnay

Bright, pale straw colour with waterlike hue. The nose reveals a distinct biscuit, cashew and less top note followed by a hint of butterscotch. The secondary ferment flavours are evident on the palate, with flavours of yeast lees, toast and roast almonds emerging, followed by a touch of butterscotch on the back palate. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of fig, peach and yeast lees.
