Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Cigar box, cedar and blackcurrant flavours followed by a spicy end note, showing excellent Cabernet lift. On the palate flavours of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice. Fine grained tannins. There is a hint of toasted oak and cedar on the back palate, followed by tobacco. Dry tannins aftertaste.
