2003 Plantagenet Riesling

Pale waterlike colour. Aroma of tropical fruit followed by a hint of ripe pineapple and lime. The palate reveals pronounced lemon flavours followed by a pronounced lemon background. The acidity is relatively high, giving the wine quite a sense of austerity and needing time to soften out. Aftertaste of lemon and spice.
