A delightful Merlot, right at its peak. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of mulberry, cedar and spice, followed by a hint of liquorice allsorts and coffee. The palate delivers very good palate weight and is supported by velvet tannins. Flavours of chocolate, spice and mulberry emerge with the back palate accentuated by a persistent spicy character which runs through into the aftertaste.
