A wine made by Ian Deakin, who older wine lovers will recall was the former winemaker at Wantirna Estate. Translucent brick red colour with brick red hue. The nose is delicate and delivers a hint of game followed by spice and stewed cherry with a strawberry jam end note. The palate flavours are quite dry with light stewed cherry flavours emerge. Soft tannins. Stewed cherry aftertaste.
