2003 McGuigan The Black Label Merlot

Bright crimson colour with mauve hue. Medium body. Aroma of spice, followed by a hint of plum and stewed fruit. The palate flavours are straightforward, with stewed fruit and spice emerging. Fine, dry tannins – slightly chalky. Stewed fruit, plum aftertaste. A commercial quaffer.
