2003 McGuigan The Black Label Cabernet Merlot

Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. The nose is delicate, with notes of confectionary, stewed fruit and blackcurrant emerging. The palate flavours are light, dominated by fine, dry, chalky tannins which overshadow the fruit. Stewed fruit aftertaste, with dry chalky tannins persisting.
