Medium body. Crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of stewed plum, spice and cedar with a confectionery endnote. There is a sense of elegance on the palate, supported by fine chalky tannins. Flavours of blackcurrant, cedar and liquorice emerge, with a trace of white pepper on the back palate. Dry finish with chalky tannins persisting.
