This wine has been produced from 7 year old vines which have been cropped at 1 tonne per acre. Totally black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose reveals notes of dark chocolate and coffee followed by ripe plum, liquorice allsorts and toasted oak. Full bodied, with plenty of palate weight, but missing out on the depth and length. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of plum, spice and vanilla.
