2003 was a dry, cool vintage. Very deep crimson brick red colour with deep brick red hue, showing some early development. Tobacco leaf top notes followed by cedar, blackcurrant and just a touch of tea leaf. On the palate, flavours of blackcurrant and tobacco emerge over a cedar back palate. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Aftertaste of cassis and tobacco leaf.
