An excellent example of the blend. The Grenache and Mataro vines are 70 years old, whilst the Shiraz is sourced from 110 year old vines. The composition of the wine is 53% Grenache, 39% Shiraz and 8 % Mataro. Deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Lifted nose with tope note of spice, raspberry, liquorice and plum. Excellent palate weight with joosy ripe fruit flavours emerging. Spice, raspberry, liquorice and plum. Fine chalky tannins. Aftertaste of raspberry, liquorice and spice.
