An outstanding Heggies. Brilliant straw colour. The nose heralds a sophisticated wine, which relies more on secondary flavours than primary Chardonnay fruit character. Aroma of hazelnut, cashew and biscuit followed by yeast lees, melon and white peach. Creamy palate texture, with plenty of body weight. Very long and persistent flavours of spice, hazelnut, cashew, melon and fig emerge. Perfect balance, crisp acidity with long spice, cashew, melon hazelnut aftertaste.
