The Miamba Vineyard is situated at the southern end of the Barossa Valley near Lyndoch. The grapes were fermented for seven days in stainless steel tanks, with temperatures peaking at 28oC and pumped over 3 times a day. 50% of the wine was partially barrel fermented in new American oak. A delightful Shiraz. Very dark crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. Perfumed nose of violets, vanilla and liquorice. The palate displays flavours of plum and vanilla with a touch of confectionary and dark chocolate. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of vanilla, plum and confectionary.
Cellar 3-4 years (2008-2009)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
