2003 Gemtree Vineyards Obsidian Shiraz

Gemtree wines have been consistently impressive, however over the last few years the quality has lifted considerably to meet the challenge of the times and have over delivered.

Very deep, almost opaque black purple crimson colour.  Superb violet nose – very aromatic with perfumed lift of spice, blackberry, plum and vanilla.  Mouthfilling palate, with flavours of liquorice, blackberry, plum, vanilla and spice.  Fine grained tannins, perfect balance.  Long aftertaste of spice, plum and liquorice.
