An excellent example of McLaren Vale Chardonnay.
The wine consists of wooded and unwooded base wines which have been blended to give the wine an added layer of complexity. Bright straw colour. Excellent nose, with top note of yeast lees, cashew, biscuit and hazelnut. The palate has excellent weight and plenty of layered flavours emerging. Creamy texture. Flavours of yeast lees, white peach, subtle oak, biscuit and just a touch of citrus emerging. Excellent weight with the flavours of ripe peaches and nectarines emerging on the palate and extending through to the aftertaste. Clean acid finish.
