Totally opaque black purple colour with deep purple hue. The nose is impressive with a lifted Cabernet top note. Aroma of spice, blackcurrant and cedar followed by a hint of liquorice allsorts. The palate has both weight and depth of flavour, with structure to ensure good cellaring. Flavours of ripe plum, blackcurrant, spice and liquorice allsorts. Fine grained dry and perfectly balanced tannins. Aftertaste of spice and black pepper.
