2003 Eden Park Vineyard Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc

Eden Park is the label that belongs to the viticultural and winemaking department of the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE and is located 40 minutes North of Melbourne. An 8 hectare vineyard is planted. Bright pale straw colour. This blend incorporates the flavour profile of ripe Chardonnay and ripe Sauvignon Blanc, thus avoiding the herbaceous characteristics that are evident in early picked examples of Sauvignon Blanc. Aroma of ripe tropical fruit followed by a hint of cinnamon and peach. The palate reflects the nose with flavours of ripe peach, melon and tropical fruit followed by a hint of lemon on the back palate. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of peach and tropical fruit.
