Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Perfumed nose showing Shiraz like top notes of spice, blackberry and plum. The palate flavours are short, with plum and stewed fruit being evident. This wine lacks the length and depth that the variety is capable of delivering. Dry tannins. Aftertaste of plum and stewed fruit.
