A very impressive wine which incorporates 5% Viognier into the blend. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Lifted nose of liquorice, spice, blackberry and violets. The palate is generous, with mouthfilling flavours of spice and blackberry followed by strong white pepper presence on the back palate. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Long aftertaste of apricot, blackberry and stewed fruit.
