Very deep yet semi-translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose delivers impressive varietal intensity with aromas of violet, cherry, strawberry and spice. On the palate, flavours of spice and strawberry emerge over a cherry background. Dryish and slightly dusty, but balanced tannins. There is a touch of plum emerging. Cherry, strawberry aftertaste.
