2003 Coldstream Hills Merlot

This wine is showing excellent primary fruit character. Deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Lifted nose of spice, violet and mulberry showing off the virtues of young Merlot wine. Velvet smooth palate, with flavours of liquorice, raspberry and spice, over a spice and mulberry back palate. Aftertaste of liquorice, raspberry and spice with hints of white pepper.
