2003 Coldstream Hills Cabernet Sauvignon

A very impressive Cabernet. Opaque crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. The nose reveals a pronounced Cabernet top note, with lifted aroma of blackcurrant and cedar followed by a hint of liquorice and spice. The palate has excellent weight, with flavours of cigar box and cedar emerging over a spicy blackcurrant back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant and cedar.
