2003 Barwang Shiraz

Medium body, deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose, with violet top note, followed by cedar, spice and vanilla. The palate structure is relatively tight but still yields ample flavour of white pepper over a background of black pepper and plum. Fine grained tannins, showing perfect balance. Liquorice and nuances of earth are on the back palate. Long aftertaste.
