The wine opens well, with excellent full,
creamy mousse. Very fine, very persistent bead. Deep brick red base wine
showing some bottle age. Flavours of plum, plum pudding, spice and leather.
On the palate there is a spicy flavour overlaid with leather and a hint of
liquorice and spice. Creamy texture. Aftertaste of plum, leather, liquorice and
spice.
