A Pinot which is developing well. Medium body, brick red colour with brick red hue. Top note of earth followed by truffle, strawberry jam and spice. On the palate flavours of truffle, leather and spice, followed by a touch of game, cherry and strawberry jam. The palate displays a very good power wave. Flavours of truffle, strawberry and cherry are supported by fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste.

Notes sourced from Bannockburn
Clear and bright appearance. Dark red colour. Youthful red hue. Complex nose with a lot going on. Savoury feral barnyard characters, mingle with lifted violets and rhubarb characters. Stalks there as well. leather and boot polish characters. The palate is concentrated. Quite powerful. A muscular and powerful Bannockburn. Plenty of mid-palate richness and weight. Wine finishes with plenty of tannin support. Stalk involvement keeps palate tight and controlled - retains a degree of finesse. Well structured Pinot. Will repay cellar time.
