2003 Balnaves Coonawarra Chardonnay

Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. Top notes of butterscotch, yeast lees and hazelnut followed by a cashew end note, showing good barrel ferment character. Hazelnut, citrus and butterscotch palate flavours with fig and spicy oak in the background. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees, toasted oak and butterscotch.
