Winemaker TOBIAS ANSTED has re-instated the Balgownie wines to their former glory and once again demand for these wines has escalated. A generous, full bodied creamy Chardonnay. Brilliant straw colour with pale straw hue. Aroma of honey, butterscotch, melon, spice, toasted oak and yeast lees. Full bodied, creamy palate, with flavours of honey, honeycomb, yeast lees, hazelnut and spicy oak emerging. Excellent palate weight and depth. Crisp acid finish. Long aftertaste of lees and honeycomb.
