2003 Aramis Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep almost opaque black brick red colour with black brick red hue. The colour is holding well. Top note of cedar, followed by cigar box and blackcurrant showing developed Cabernet character with tobacco end note. The palate is quite hard, with some medicinal characteristics emerging, overlaid with flavours of old leather and cedar. Dry tannins followed by an aftertaste of old leather and old tobacco. The wine is converging into senility.
